So many stories to tell...
Dead men tell no tales,
And many voices are intentionally silenced. No matter which group is doing the silencing, its often systemic and often inbeded in culture. Historically speaking, these are the folks we hear from the least in primary sources. This is due to many factors including: lack of education, poverty, homelessness, indentured servitude, sickness, or other plight encouraged by the society's view of the group.

Discrimination comes in many forms and has effected many populations in our history, and the eight provided are certainly not a complete list. Staying educated on current global news and maintaining a diverse social life are crucial pieces in combating any prejudices that may try to creep up on us through culture.
